The more closely we observe a place, the more deeply we begin to belong to it.
Autumn Field Notes is a series of three seasonal creative gatherings inspired by the changing landscape of East Lothian.
Together we'll slow down and notice the subtle shifts that mark the arrival of autumn — from changing light and ripening seeds to migrating birds and the changing colours of the landscape. Through observation, drawing and making, each gathering offers time to cultivate curiosity, develop a personal creative practice and enjoy the quiet details that often go unnoticed.
No previous drawing or artistic experience is needed — only curiosity and a willingness to look a little more closely.
