And yes — this time, there will be instructions.
If you are anything like me, I didn’t experience menopause — I survived it.
I endured the onslaught of hot flushes, anger, emotional overwhelm, disturbed sleep, fatigue, loss of libido, and an overwhelming sense of helplessness. I felt alone, confused, and utterly discombobulated.
Like many women, I was also juggling work, children, elderly parents, relationships, and responsibilities in all directions. It’s hardly surprising that this phase of life can leave us exhausted, disconnected, and struggling to embrace it with any sense of positivity.
For me, things began to shift when I discovered Yoga.
What to expect:
We will come together in a small, supportive group (maximum 9 women) in a safe, warm, and stress-free environment.
Each week we will explore:
Gentle styles of Yoga including Hatha, Kundalini, Yin, and Restorative
Fascial and Tension Release exercises
Breathing practices and chanting to calm the mind, release heat, and reset the nervous system
Meditation, visualisation, and affirmations to cultivate compassion, acceptance, and balance
Each week focuses on a specific menopausal symptom and how Yoga can help support or ease it.
And because the last thing any menopausal woman needs is more stress, every session includes at least 30 minutes of deeply nourishing Restorative Yoga, with fully supported poses using bolsters — so you are guaranteed to leave feeling rested, restored, and renewed.
There will also be time for a cup of tea and a blether after class (optional, but warmly encouraged).
