Join artist Jennifer Littlejohn for a relaxed seasonal art workshop exploring the forms and patterns of early spring.
Working with botanical materials collected from the natural landscape, participants will create a series of expressive drawings inspired by close observation, mark-making, tone and simple colour techniques. The workshop will begin with playful, exploratory studies before developing more considered pieces.
The spring equinox marks a moment in the year when day and night are in balance. This session offers a gentle opportunity to reflect on seasonal change while engaging in a creative process and spending time looking closely at the small signs of spring in the landscape.
There will be space for quiet making, informal conversation and optional sharing of work. A short break with tea and home baking will be included.
No previous drawing experience is required.
£35 (special 2-for-1 offer for this event)
